With more than 170 recipes , A Year of Real Meals can accommodate most diets. Many recipes are already gluten-free, dairy free, or low-carb, and all can be easily modified to suit your unique dietary needs.
Nearly all of the recipes call for regular pantry staples, commonly found meats, fresh produce, herbs/spices, etc.—all of which are readily available at most mainstream grocery stores. On occasion, if an ingredient is used which is harder to find, substitution ideas are provided in the notes section of each recipe.
A variety of cooking methods are used: stovetop, oven, slow cooker, or grill. Frequently, you’ll see notes on variations (how to bake the dish instead of cooking in a skillet). At this time, A Year of Real Meals does not include any pressure cooker recipes.
